Howdy Volunteers!

Welcome to the Sam Centre Better Impact homepage. We're thrilled that you are interested in volunteering with us!

The Sam Centre Volunteer Program includes more than 100 volunteers. Volunteer roles include:

• Gallery Rangers (next intake in spring 2025)
• Education Program Support Volunteers (next intake in August 2025)
• Subcommittee members (Recruitment, Training, Experience and Communications & Events) (Currently Recruiting)
• Committee Leadership & Executive
  • Currently recruiting for Communications & Events Subcommittee Chair

How to Apply

To apply to join the Sam Centre Volunteer Program, please click on the Fill in an application link in the box to the right labelled I would like to volunteer. To apply, you need to first create a username and login, or use an login from MyImpactPage.com. The full application process takes approximately 7 minutes to complete; you will be asked to provide:

• Contact information
• General availability
• General interests (roles)
• Background with Calgary Stampede
• Details on your existing volunteer experience
• Details on why you are interested in volunteering with Sam Centre
• Emergency contact information

Once your application is submitted, our Recruitment Subcommittee will review your application, and will reach out to you to schedule a 30 minute interview.

Please note, that we do 3-4 volunteer intakes a year and do not have rolling recruitment. Typically these recruitment periods are: April, August and January
